Arabian Wedding Costume

A young Muslim woman commissioned me to design a traditional costume for her to wear to her brother's wedding.  She must remain modest, but she still wants to be pretty and feminine.

She sent me this photo of a traditional Arabian Muslim garment to inspire me.

Here is the costume I designed.

The trim is all hand made by me. The costume reflects the Arabian bedouin lifestyle and the minaret so prevalent in Arabian culture.
